The world needs more Star Wars parodies, that’s what we were all thinking.

No, we weren’t. The world has actually seen too many Star Wars parodies. And yet we are thrilled to write about another one.

Since we are fully aware of just how saturated the parody world is we promise we are only bringing your attention to those worth your while or so spectacularly done that it simply needs to be shared.

This Star Wars parody falls into both categories. Judy and Dan, who together make up the YouTube channel Palette-Swap Ninja, are amateur musicians who rewrote the entirety of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band to make the songs tell the story of Star Wars: A New Hope.

According to Palette-Swap Ninja’s website, the entire parody took five years to make. They wrote the lyrics to match exactly with the original songs, and recorded everything from scratch. That is some next level dedication, all to give the world a surprisingly enjoyable Beatles-Star Wars mashup.

You can watch and listen to all 13 tracks on YouTube, and if you find you truly love it you can download the entire album for free on their website.

We’re off to get some illicit help from our friends.
